About BK’S BBQ

Founded by Navy veteran Barry Kammer Jr., BK’s BBQ began as a lifelong passion turned full-time calling. After 11 proud years of military service, Barry chased his love for authentic Texas barbecue—honing his craft at The Culinary School of Fort Worth and earning a coveted internship at AT&T Stadium, where he was personally selected by Jerry Jones to serve in the owner’s private suite.

Today, based in Keller, TX, BK’s BBQ brings soulful, high-quality smoked meats to backyards, weddings, corporate events, and celebrations across the DFW metroplex. With a traveling smoker and a family-first spirit, Barry, his wife Kristen, and daughters Lizzy and Abby deliver more than great food—they bring warmth, hospitality, and joy to every gathering.

Proudly veteran-owned and deeply rooted in community, BK’s BBQ donates leftover meals to Fort Worth’s homeless shelters, believing food is meant to be shared.
